These guys literally shovel algae in their mouth all the while carefully picking if off delicate plants without harming them. I'm gonna try to post a small video here sorry in advance if it doesn't work.  IMG_0301.mov

To anyone interested in the crabs: These crabs cannot live under water completely forever ( they will last 9months - 1 year tops fully submerged) they need a log or something to reach the surface and dry out, then they go back under ( they spend most of the time submerged) - outstanding algae eaters tho

Good cleaners, but pains December 21, 2010
Reviewer: Dar from Indiana
My first order of crabs arrived dead. AQ was great about sending me more. I ordered one, but got four. All four are alive now in my little 20 gallon tank, along with four snails. My tank is as clean as can be, but the crabs are destroying my delicate micro-sword and the sprouts off my tiger lotus bulbs. They don't damage my large sword plants though. I doubt I will have enough algae to feed all 8 of these "critters". I am now faced with having to find homes for them. Oh, they are also always trying to escape out of the top of my tank near the filter and hoses. UGH.
