AquariumPlants.com's Electronic Co2 Regulator NOTE: This is an "introductory price" This product has forever changed the introduction of Co2 in to an aquarium...Used for co2 injection for a freshwater planted aquarium, or a Calcium reactor in a saltwater application. (This is OUR baby, we built it, tested it, and patent it) The problem of "dumping" is completely eliminated with our regulator.   Dumping is always a problem with (ALL OTHER) regulators which utilize a needle valve.  Simply because, a needle valve relies on the pressure on both sides of it for it's accuracy.  So, even though you have it set at a certain "bubble rate", once the pressure in the cylinder (or the outside atmospheric pressure) changes, so will the amount of co2 that passes through the needle valve.  This is why it is physically impossible for any and ALL other regulators that rely on a "mechanical needle valve" to ever be consistent. Our regulator does not have a needle valve, but instead, it has an electronic valve that opens and closes in a fraction of a second, (each "opening & closing" equates to a bubble) and, due to the fact that it is "electronic" the "bubble rate" can NEVER change, and, once it is set, it can never vary more than "+/- 1/1,000 of a second. THE BEST !!! October 31, 2008 Reviewer: Eric Coppala from Melbourne, FL United States   I recently purchased the electronic regulator from AquariumPlants.com and had to comment on this product. It is by far the best regulator I've used. My 1st 2 regulators were traditional solenoid based units and both failed in less than 4 months. When they did function, the bubble counters continually ran dry in a matter of a day or 2. Now , I can  drive the dKH where I want it consistently. Also, I want to thank Mark & Randy for on the phone consultations. Lastly, the warranty service is 2nd to none as I inadvertently damaged my regulator when changing the CO2 cylinder. Worth every penny October 30, 2008 Reviewer: Keith Ledbetter from Atlanta, GA United States   I have gone through many regulators in my 10 years of having a calcium reactor.  3 years ago I bought the non digital version and it was good but I would still have occasional issues because of pressure differences, etc.  This thing is awesome.  Absolutely zero issues and the way it works is just a much better concept! Greatest regulator in the world! August 21, 2008 Reviewer: Joshua Chalmers from Fort Lauderdale, FL United States   Not only has this regulator worked flawlessly,  it was simple to set up and it came with the piece of mind of a 3 year warranty. The LED for a bubble counter with control coming from a highly accurate rheostat is perfection and takes the guesswork out of CO2 dosing. It's simply elegant! I will never own another regulator.
