Anubias gracilis are truly beautiful plats when they mature BUT, they are originally from west Africa and are relatively slow growers and reach a max height of about twelve inches require clean soft water (opposed to what some people may say) The root or more properly, the rhizome must not be placed into the substrate and it prefers a temperature of 72 to 79 degrees F range but do not expect to get something like the plant pictured they usually come as juveniles with two to four leaves.
