I am a beginner to plants and I got a few of these the other week. I really like them because they grow like weeds and I didn't kill them. I'm a little upset because I found two baby snails last night in my tank. besides the snails I'm very happy with all of my plant purchases. They all are very beautiful.

this plant is not as simple as it is pictured it is a large bunch of bifurcating branches it is a busy bush:however; it is hardier than many others like itself i.e. it sheds less when handling.

This plant can be great or terrible. I sometimes swear you could grow it in the dark it is that undemanding. However when given just a little bit of light it tends to get tall and stringy looking. Make sure you keep a healthy supply of plant weights handy as well if you want it planted in the substrate since this plant does not put down roots. If you have high light this is not the plant for you, look into a Cabomba species.

Nice background plant. Grow fast and doesn't need lots of light.
It's a tall plant if you don't trim it.
