Anubias barteri var. 'nana' is a smaller variety and the most well known of all Anubias varieties. It is a short, bushy variety, which is very tolerant of almost any condition. It readily attaches to driftwood or rocks and the rhizome creeps along any structure. There are several forms of A. nana being sold in the trade all with slightly different characteristics. This plant can be used in terrariums and Cichlid tanks.

I ordered several plants and this might be my favorite. I attached it to a piece of drift wood and it is doing great. I have had it about 1 month now and it has already produced a new leaf despite being known as a slow grower.

This is such an easy plant to add to the collection. Either on rock, wood or in the soild, it makes for a very attractive addition to the well rounded garden. Requires very little effort to thrive in most any environment.
