These anchors work so much better than the lead strip ones IMO. The design makes it easier to anchor the plants in one place without them still moving around like they can with lead weights. And it's also easier to control how much of the root system goes into the substrate. Also makes rearranging of the plants much easier, and the fish don't seem to dislodge them as easily. I've already bought two packs and plan to order more with my next order!

Best plant anchors hands down!

At first I purchased 3 packs of these anchors and loved them so much I ordered quite a few more! I use them for almost every plant in my tank. I have over 40 of these in use and have a few extra packs laying around just in case I find another plant to add to my collection. They are a real blessing as I use crushed coral as a substrate and those metal anchors tend to give off a white residue and tend to rot the plant below the anchor. This anchor allows the roots to grow without the fish or whatever you may have eating them off and expands to allow the stem of the plant to grow. They also make it easy to move the plants without destroying the roots! Place them just slightly under your substrate and they hold the plant down great! A must have for anyone wanting a great looking tank!
