Wonderful Addition August 11, 2017
Reviewer: michael from montgomery, TX United States
Bulbs arrived with enough growth to be able to determine top & bottom.  Planted in 22" tall tank in a fairly well lit location. They took off! Big leaves - some almost 6" in diameter. Dark purple color. They remind me of Beefheart Begonia leaves. Have not yet had one try to send a leaf to the surface, but then I do trim the taller ones.  Most leaves are on stems about 8"-10" and they make a "shady" area underneath. I am considering putting some crypts and anubias under them.

So happy... November 16, 2016
Reviewer: Amy L. from Bayonne, NJ United States
I am thrilled with my tiger lotus!  I had forgotten I had ordered it--when it came it looked like a rock with a few wisps of roots coming off it, and I had no idea what it was.  After a few days it already had pretty pink leaves unfolding, and now after just a few weeks it is thriving, already putting out a runner with a daughter that has 5 leaves of her own.  The larger leaves are starting to take on that spotted look that had attracted me initially.  It was the perfect plant to add a bit of color to my tank, and I am so happy with it!

this plant is beautiful June 5, 2016
Reviewer: Michael Robinson from Pembroke Pines, FL United States
I bought 2 of these plants, they are beautiful plants. They arrive as a bulb, a little marble. I just laid them on the gravel and in time they sprouted and grew into the most beautiful plant in the aquarium. Unfortunately, they have diminished in size, they are very small yet still alive.

An amazing plant to watch May 30, 2015
Reviewer: John Whittaker from New Braunfels , TX United States
It comes as a little ball of dirt about the size of a marble  with a couple of tiny leaves.  The reddish leaves will grow, then one at a time a stalk will grow that takes one leaf at a time up to the surface.  My aquarium is 31" deep and the stalk would take it from the bottom to the surface in 48 hours, then another leaf would grow.  Really entertaining, amazing to watch, the leaf rises shaped aerodynamically to minimize drag.  Try one, nourish, and prepare to be amazed.

Bloomed like a champ April 13, 2015
Reviewer: Amandine from Clearwater, FL United States
I received 2 bulbs. Each had a couple of stems, but I wasn't sure which way to plant them. I planted one with the stems up and the other with the stems down. After a week, the ones with the stems up died. I moved it upside down but it never took. However, the second one bloomed like crazy! I placed it in the center of the center of the tank and it is now the "main piece". A beautiful plant! Right now, leaves grow red but turn green after a couple of days. I am getting some Iron in the hopes to have the plant turn back to red. All in all, it grows very fast and is a great addition to the tank (fish love swimming through it too).
