This lamp has been designed for larger aquarium. It has an anodised reflector and is distinctly larger. The special feature of this lamp is that it operates on an external ballast, thus avoiding excessively high temperatures at the lamp bodies; and it weighs only 5.3 kg (11.6 lbs.).
These aquarium HQI-lamps give a natural white, pleasantly bright light at low heating. In all lamps the housing is made of aluminium. The lamps are supplied with 10,000 K metal halide lamps. This light is very well suited for fresh water and marine aquariums.
