Great plants! |

This is one of my favorite aquarium plants and every time I've ordered it I have been completely happy with it. At first they all break off here and there, but once they "settle" in the tanks they are tall and green and gorgeous! It seems they just need a few days to adjust to their new surroundings. This is a great plant for a fry tank too. I have about a dozen of these in my fry tank and my Molly and Platy fry LOVE it!

My Vals have been planted in my 25 gal tank for about 5 months now and have just begun to reach the top. Pretty, but slow growing- so have patience!

Vals-Melted with Excel usage |
August 15, 2009 |

Arrived in great condition, were very long in length and had an advanced root system to each of them.
The problem I experienced is within not being aware that vals tend to melt with Flourish Excel.
I dose my tank with Seachems plant line and didn't know a thing about the excel issue, but quickly found out.
All my vals turned to mush and had to be tossed. Hopefully this warning will save someone else from making the same mistake I did.
