AKA the Pygmy Chain Swordplant. Characteristics: Rosette plant with 1-2 mm wide, grasslike leaves. Height: 3-5". Growth rate: Weekly 2 runners. Very prolific. Special note: Ideal groundcover plant. Color in shaded areas green, in bright light reddish. This very hardy foreground plant will quickly form a nice carpet of foliage over the substrate. (sold 10 per order...price reflects 10 plants)(this is a GREAT price/value!)(also available in "pots")

Also available in pots. The bare root version comes somewhat taller than the potted because it is grown emersed at the nursery. After it has grown submersed for a period of time, it then shortens up.

The first order I received of these were as advetised and flourished forming a great ground cover. The second order were about 10" in height and unsuitable as a forground plant.
