Anubias ‘Nangi’ is a beautiful addition to any aquarium. This is a hybrid of A. barteri var. nana and A. gilletii and was hybridized by the world-renowned Aquatic Plant grower Bob Gasser. Its long broad dark green leaves complement any aquarium setting. Anubias ‘Nangi’ flourishes underwater and will grow up to 12 inches tall. Anubias ‘Nangi’ thrives under low light and low nutrients which make it an ideal plant for the beginning aquarist.
Anubias Nangi is a perfect aquarium plant for beginners and advanced hobbyists because of it’s hardiness and ability to adapt to various aquatic environments. From non-water terrariums to Cichlid tanks, the Anubias Nangi can tolerate a wide range of environments.
The rhizome must be kept above the substrate surface, or it can rot. Only the white roots should be buried if planting in the substrate. they thrive when planted in the water column either attached to driftwood or any hardscape.
