Anubias Minima is a hybrid. The actual species is Anubias barteri Var. glabra. Anubias ‘minima’ is a great midground aquarium plant. Its slender leaves stay very compact, and it doesn’t get very large.
The rhizome must be kept above the substrate surface, or it can rot. Only the white roots should be buried if planting in the substrate. Anubias Minima do well growing in the water column by attaching to driftwood or any hardscape.
