Malaysian driftwood is an exceptionally dense wood for the aquarium. Because it is so dense, it usually sinks right away without need to soak. Maylaysian wood is usually a rich brown color with many holes and crevices which works well for attaching many different kinds of plants such as anubias, bucephalandra, mosses and ferns to name a few. It provides a natural foraging ground for shrimp and other aquatic pets.

Our photos are the actual piece you will receive. Rinse thoroughly before placing in aquarium. This wood can release natural tannins, giving your water a light tea-colored tint. This is a natural occurrence, and the effects will subside over time. If you prefer the crystal-clear look, boil the wood for 1–2 hours or soak it in a separate container until the water runs clear.
