Marginal plants, both hardy and tropical, grow in shallow water or in moist soil around usually around the perimeter of the water garden or pond. They can also be used in patio ponds, container ponds and bogs or by disappearing waterfalls. Marginal plant’s roots grow under water and their foliage and flowers rise above.
