Description
Echinodorus ‘Rubin’ is a great red leafed sword plant variety for the aquarium. Echinodorus ‘Rubin’ has long slender dark red leaves that makes it an excellent choice for background areas of the aquarium. Plant Echinodorus ‘Rubin’ in the background of your aquarium for deep red contrast in that area. Echinodorus ‘Rubin’ is another sword created by the breeder, Hans Barth. According to him, the plants were selected from crosses between E. horemanii “red”(color form of E. uruguayensis) and E. barthii.
